A few weeks ago, I was invited to stay at the Hyatt Place Downtown Asheville for a little relaxing getaway and it was a total blast. It was my first time to visit Asheville, but I had been dying to visit ever since I moved to the Carolinas. Charleston is so close to so many other fun cities! Texas is so big and spread out, so going out of state from Austin meant driving 6+ hours, but here I can visit Atlanta, Asheville, Charlotte, Savannah, and Jacksonville, plus so many more in no time at all.
Asheville is known for it’s breweries, so when we weren’t hanging out at the hotel, we were out and about checking out the local beer (because, duh!). We were blessed with amazing weather, too, which was perfect for having dinner and drinks at the Montford Rooftop Bar on-site at the Hyatt on our final night there. It was the picture-perfect weekend!
Check out the photos we snapped below! Make sure you make it to the bottom to see the incredible food from the Montford Rooftop Bar!
The room was everything you could hope for when you try a new hotel. The bed was comfy, the staff was friendly and helpful (the Valet were especially nice and gave us tips on where to explore), and the views were amazing. It was so cozy waking up to this mountain view every morning with my coffee. I also loved the blue walls, of course!
The rest of the hotel was fab as well. I was a big fan of the free breakfast and coffee bar, and they also had a bunch of yummy snacks for purchase.
The Montford Rooftop Bar was probably my favorite part of the hotel We spent about 3 hours hanging out on the patio eating delicious food, sipping on wine, and enjoying the gorgeous sunset views. It’s definitely the best view in Asheville!
Thanks for reading, and comment below if you have ever been to Asheville! I’d love to hear about your experience because I’ll definitely be making another trip soon!
