I’ve been having a thing for rooftops lately, apparently! I was really excited to showcase this gorgeous, fun velvet polka dot holiday party dress and I thought it would contrast perfectly against the Austin skyline.
I don’t know about y’all, but I have also been having such a fun time picking out holiday party outfits. Spring and summer are cool and all (not literally, it’s freaking hot in Texas), but as soon as the temps drop and you’re adding sparkly details, faux fur, velvet, and red (lots of red) you instantly appear more glamorous. It’s like going out suddenly becomes much more of an ordeal, in a very good way. One thing you’ll always need is a little black dress, but in the winter, you can wear gorgeous LBD party dresses like this one with velvet polka dots and you look way more fancy and fun than if you were wearing cotton. Also, I can’t get over how adorable this faux fur clutch is (insert heart eyes emoji)! I wore it last night to a 20’s themed party, as you might have seen on my Twitter or Instagram, and it was the perfect accessory.
You also might notice that now it’s December, I will be exclusively wearing bight red lips. Yes, you can wear red lips throughout the year, I know, but I feel like it just fits most perfectly during the holidays. I feel more festive, and definitely like an old Hollywood movie star, and who doesn’t love feeling like that?
Thanks for reading!! Stay tuned for more fun winter outfits coming soon!
