Sometimes, a girl needs a little glamour in her life. Let’s be real, I’d rather wear a flowy princess maxi skirt any day of the week instead of a normal outfit, but they don’t always work with the occasion (lol). Luckily, I live right down the road from a fabulous wedding and event venue called Pearl Snap Hall, and I was really excited to do an elegant outfit shoot here. The building was originally a church built in 1910 and the long leaf pine floors are all original and incredibly maintained. It felt so special to twirl around on them with no one else in the venue (besides my photographer, of course). I could just imagine the folks in town piling in for church in their Sunday best.
I shot two outfits here, and this one was definitely my favorite. Y’all, if this skirt catches even the tiniest bit of a breeze, it looks absolutely breathtaking. The fabric is so light and airy! I also have it in a pink floral pattern that I got last summer, but when I saw the purple lilies I had to get it again.
I might just have to pack it up for my trip next week! I’ll be heading out to Charleston again with my dear friend Rachel of Austinfoodstagram to see the solar eclipse! We are going to be staying at the Inns Charleston at their newest property and we’re so excited! They’re having a big party for the eclipse and it’s going to be fab.
