Boots: Aqua Pillar Shoes | Dress: Old Navy | Scarf: Burberry | Watch: Kate Spade NY | Sunnies: Karen Walker Eyewear (Borrowed through Shop Ditto)
I’ve found a pair of boots that “Wow!” and I love them. This is my first pair of thigh-highs, and I was surprisingly comfortable in them as soon as I put them on. Even paired with a relaxed-fit dress, I couldn’t help but feel a little sexy in them. That might be because all I can think of is Julia Roberts in Pretty Women when I think of thigh-highs, where she of course played a hooker lol. Luckily, the trend has come back in full force, with with modern updates of course. In my opinion, thigh-highs absolutely must be suede, or maybe soft-leather (as long as they aren’t heeled), otherwise they are just too much.
A Burberry scarf will also always add a touch of sophistication to any outfit when you need it! My mom got me this beauty for Christmas last year and I love it so much (but it’s silk and I’m afraid to ruin it so I rarely wear it haha).
Thanks for reading, everyone! P.S. try out Shop Ditto for a month free with code “BYHILARYROSE”. You get to borrow designer eyewear like the Karen Walkers I’m wearing in these photos, it’s pretty awesome!
These boots are killer! And they look so fab on you!
Those boots are gorgeous and I loved the way you’ve paired them with gray – it really makes the boots stand out. I also like that they have a nice, thick heel rather than a thin one because walking in snow with a tiny heel post would be trouble!
