I soaked up my last moments as an Austinite this weekend (insert crying face emjoi). As you know, I’m moving to Charleston this week, and I was so excited to partner with Hyundai to say goodbye in style to the city I called home for 8 years. This post is a little different from my normal style, etiquette, and travel posts, but when I see a good product of any kind, I like to share with y’all!
It’s every blogger’s dream to get an email offering them a top-of-the-line car for the week, and I was thrilled when I got this one in my inbox! I’m in the market for a new car and had no idea what I wanted, so it was kind of perfect timing for me to try something new, and I fell in love with this Santa Fe Sport 2.0T! My current ride is a 2009, so it was fun having all the bells and whistles of a new car! I absolutely LOVE the Apple CarPlay. Do any of you have this in your car? It makes everything from making calls to listening to music so easy and safe, and it even will read your texts for you and let you verbally send back responses (whatttt). Needless to say, it’s going to be so hard to go back after being so spoiled with that haha. The AUX connector in my car doesn’t even work *le sigh*.
One of the first things I did with my new ride for the week was head to downtown Austin for dinner with a few of my friends. I have so many loved ones in Austin who I won’t get to see for a while, and I also wanted to walk around South Congress to see the view of the skyline. It really was the perfect day. South Congress is definitely one of those areas you go to if you really want to feel like you’re in Austin and get all the local vibes, and I was glad I had a chance to really take it all in.
Hyundai also teamed me up with NCAA and sent me and my sister to the Texas football game against Oklahoma State on Saturday! Y’all know I went to Texas and I am a huge Longhorns fan (my sister’s an Aggie but what are you gonna do?), so I was absolutely stoked to go to a home game. There’s nothing like game day in Austin, TX! It’s just magical. I have been so busy this season that it was actually my first and only home game this year. We even got to meet Michael Griffin at the Hyundai FanBase event (which was so fun) and then we were off to the game! Despite the heartbreaking loss in OT, we still had such a great time. I was so glad to have some one-on-one sister time!
I could go on and on, but long story short, I absolutely adored having my Hyundai Santa Fe Sport for a week! It made my last weekend in Austin extra sweet and fun, and it’s now on the top of my wish list for my new car. If anyone drives one too, I’d love to hear about it!
I have been given compensation for this post by Hyundai Motor America. However, all thoughts and opinions expressed are my own.

Beautiful car! I have a Hyundai Elantra and I love it…also has the Apple Car Play and it’s THE BOMB. My boyfriend is thinking about getting a Santa Fe, I sent him this post so he could get a closer look at it. If he gets one, I’ll definitely have to steal it a time or two.

Why are you moving? I wasn’t sure if you wrote anything about that?
