As I make my way around Charleston, with the goal of trying as many of the cities’ great restaurants as possible, I had to make a stop at a truly unique place that had opened it’s doors to me during my first month in the Holy City. 5Church was having an event for bloggers and had invited me and some other local influencers to taste some of their new menu items. I was floored by the delicious entrées and cocktails, and was very excited to meet Alejandra Torio, the face behind the impressive marketing of 5Church Charleston, 5Church Charlotte, and Sophia’s Lounge. He took a seat with us for a drink and made me feel most welcome into my new town.
I was also swept away by the gorgeous space. 5Church is located on Market Street, right in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Downtown Charleston, and yet when you walk in you’re enveloped by the serene and chic vibes of the old converted Church. The angel wing lights overhanging the bar were especially magical. It was such a gorgeous and romantic spot that really took my breath away.
Having had such a memorable experience, I knew that making it to 5Church for a Foodie Friday review was necessary, and I’m so excited to share them with y’all! I brought my Charleston bestie, Randi of Kay & Co Weekends, to enjoy some menu items and cocktails with me.
