It’s been nearly a year since my Palm Springs Bachelorette Party and I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to get this blog post written! My amazing sister and MOH planned the whole thing and it was my picture-perfect idea of a fun time for my last fling before the ring (and all the other fun bach party puns lol!).
Since our wedding was in January, it gave us the perfect opportunity to plan the trip to happen during my favorite holiday – HALLOWEEN! Not that many people know this, but Palm Springs is actually a place that gets pretty into Halloween, so it was a very festive place to be that weekend.
Here’s all the info on where we stayed, a schedule of what we did, and my pretty out-there idea for our Halloween themed outfits!
Our Airbnb
I highly recommend renting an Airbnb for a Palm Springs bachelorette over doing the hotel route. Ours was SO FUN! We stayed at a property called the Splash House, and it was the perfect size to hold all 9 of us for my big weekend. It was also just a super short Uber ride to the area where all the restaurants and bars were. Plus, it wouldn’t be a bachelorette pad without a pool! Finding a house with a pool was a must for me and my crew.
Even in late October it’s warm enough in Palm Springs to hang out by the pool, so we planned a pool party one day and invited some special guests! We hired a couple Manservants to wait on us. If you haven’t heard of them, they’re some dapper gents who are propriety trained by women to provide “creep-free” entertainment and pampering to show ladies like us a good time! Our guys were so much fun! They made us yummy drinks, played drinking games with us, and were super adorable props for our photos!
Things to do:
We definitely ate well during my bach weekend! My sister knows how much I love a yummy meal and a cute cocktail, so we had four great meals on the agenda. Palm Springs has such cute spots so it was hard to choose, but I loved all the places we went and would definitely go back. Then, we finished the weekend on Saturday night by dressing up for Halloween to go out! I had a vision of me being a zombie bride and my girls being zombie bridesmaids, and it was so fun. I’d been practicing my zombie makeup during all my Halloween tutorials, so I helped the girls out with theirs. We hopped around some super fun clubs and gay bars, and it couldn’t have been a better ending to a fun weekend.
Our Favorite restaurants:
Brunch:
–Grand Central Palm Springs This place was so cute and the food was perfect brunch food! Also, they were really into the Halloween theme and had a super cool gallery space in the back with life-sized spooky Halloween sculptures. I was obsessed!!
Dinner:
–Trio This was our dinner on the first night. It was cozy and intimate, and the food was really good.
–4 Saints at the Kimpton Rowan Hotel This couldn’t have been more ideal for our fancy night out on Friday night. It’s a rooftop restaurant with the pool right next to us, and it was easy to pop over to the rooftop bar High Bar right across the terrace.
–Lulu California Bistro This was our last meal of the weekend and was so cute. They also were decorated for Halloween and they had great meal specials.
Drinks:
–High Bar at the Kimpton Rowan Hotel Like I said, it’s right across the terrace from 4 Saints, and it was so nice to have two cute spots to hit in one location. We grabbed drinks and lounged in the pool chairs while playing a truth or dare bachelorette game my sister brought!
–Moxie This place was SO FUN! It had a great DJ and we danced the night away.
–Chill Bar This was the most fun gay bar that we went to. They had an awesome Halloween drag show that we went to in our zombie costumes on the last night!
—Truss and Twine This was a late-night place, and it wouldn’t be a successful bachelorette if I remembered too many details, right? I do remember loving the vibes.
–Copa Nightclub This was the spot for the first Halloween party of the night! Super fun and exactly what you’d expect from a nightclub.
The Favors:
I wanted to treat my girls to some fun favors for the weekend, and I was so excited to work with Sprinkled with Pink! We got allll the goodies that were perfect for a bachelorette crew in Palm Springs. Each gift bag I gave to my bridesmaids included a monogrammed wine cup, a Palm Springs tote, a flamingo floating drink pool float, and a monogrammed custom pool bag filled with liquid IV’s, aspirin, and Tic-Tacs. It was so fun to to have all the matching cups for our pool party day, and I loved how cute the drink floats looked in the pool.
I also included some adorable velvet bow scrunchies for everyone from Av&Em! They were the perfect little addition for their survival packs.
Since I was the bride, I got a couple extras treats! I snagged a special swan drink pool float with BRIDE on it, and an adorable boater hat with my new monogram.
