Little Black Dress and New Henri Bendel

It’s no secret, I’m not the biggest fan of black clothing. It usually doesn’t photograph well, it can make me look pale, and it reminds me of being called gothic once in Junior High. However, there are two reasons why the color will sometimes make it into my closet; it’s easy to match and it’s flattering. I’m not the best at picking out colors or patterns and deciding they will go together, so, in a pinch, I like to have some black options that I know I can throw on without thinking. So, when I saw the ruffle details on this sweater dress, and I knew I had a new Henri Bendel bag to go with it, I had to make this little black dress mine. This would be a go-to outfit for a winter wedding or a dressy date night.
