Dress | Wedges | Clutch | Choker
This year, I decided that I was going to make an effort to add more practical, everyday pieces to my wardrobe. I always am drawn toward the fun, exciting, fancy dresses, but the truth is, I grab for casual pieces way more often in my daily life. Instead of buying boring go-to dresses, though, I just search harder now and find dresses like the one I said was the perfect summer-ready dress, and this cute smock dress.
For me, this smock dress is everything a go-to item should be. The color and print were enough to sell me (why am I so obsessed with baby blue??) but if it’s not your favorite color, it also comes in orange. The scrunched, smocked sleeves are SO comfortable, too, and don’t pinch at all like some off the shoulder dresses do. Also, I think a throw-on-and-go dress absolutely needs to be flowy and not form-fitted. You’ve gotta be able to feel comfortable wearing it to no matter what you’re doing, and if that’s tacos and margs, it needs to be flowy (Amen?!). I am here to say that I 100% recommend this dress for your closet, I promise you’re going to love it.
