It’s been so great sharing my travels with y’all over the past few weeks! I feel like I’ve been on the go constantly and it has been such a blessing to see and experience so many new places.
As many of you know, Charleston has particularly peaked my interest over the past few months (as well as everyone else’s in the world it seems) and after visiting on my road trip, I am officially in love with this beautiful city. I can totally see myself living there, and part of the reason was probably because we got to stay at such an adorable vacation home instead of a hotel.
The Inns Charleston is composed of renovated historic homes that feel like an upscale hotel because of their modern and chic design but homey at the same time because they’re set in a charming and historic neighborhood tucked away with all the locals. Located on Spring Street, just walking distance from food, shopping, and plenty of fun nightlife, we never had to get a ride (even in the Southern heat) we just walked everywhere. We felt like Charleston natives when we stepped out on the porch and out the front gate to go explore everything the town has to offer. Inside, all the furnishing are brand new and carefully designed, and covering the walls throughout the house are beautiful paintings by local artists.
I think what sets Inns Charleston apart from other home rentals is that they really focus on the experience. Everything you could possibly need is provided, really making you feel like you’re at home and letting you focus on the fun of your vacation. There wasn’t a big long list of things we needed to do before we checked out like I’ve seen at other home rentals, we just locked up the door behind us and were on our way. It really took away the stress from our morning departure.

Even though we went out to eat while we were there, the kitchen had everything we needed should we have decided to stay in and cook. They left us some little snacks from local stores, the coffee was great, and they had all the utensils for cooking and baking necessary. I also loved the orchid on the windowsill 🙂
Our home (69B) was a two-bedroom, one bath, with a Master bedroom that has a king size bed and another room with two twins. Like a very silly person, I forgot to take photos of our master bedroom before we threw our stuff everywhere, but you can see a picture of what it looks like here. The setup is perfect for a group of 4 friends or a family with kids!
The decor is absolutely stunning. The house is full of authentic Charleston pieces like sweet grass baskets as well as items from the “low-country” coast. I wanted to take everything home with me!
We only spent 48 hours in Charleston, but we couldn’t have asked for a more magical place to spend it. Be sure to check out the Inns Charleston if you’re looking for a place to stay on your next visit!
