In the Garden

Mike and I are back in Austin, and I keep wishing this beautiful garden was here! After a weekend of double-date activities with my best friend, Lauren, and her boyfriend, we decided to have some girl time. She took me to this garden to enjoy the sun and was sweet enough to snap some pics of me here before we headed to brunch. I love hanging out the four of us, but it’s always good to get to spend some time with my bestie one-on-one. We were roomies in college for two years, and I was so sad when she moved to Houston, but we always make the effort to visit as often as possible.

Also, I guess it’s obvious I have a couple of favorite summer staples. This bright Rebecca Minkoff mini bag is such a statement, and yet I always find a way to wear it all the time. These wedges are the opposite. They are so neutral they literally go with everything, and the stretchy material make them so comfy! I thought both went perfectly with this oh so precious off the shoulder striped dress (which is only $40 by the way).
