Last week, I had the pleasure of working with a fabulous local photographer, Hilary Rattikin. OMG did we have a blast, I absolutely love this girl! She studies Advertising at the University of Texas (my alma mater, and the setting for this shoot) but has a passion for photography and has even worked with top Austin/Dallas fashion blogger Kate of A Lonestar State of Southern. I can’t say enough how much I love her style of photography and how much fun she made our shoot 🙂 I’ve got some other fun stuff planned with her coming up so definitely stay tuned for that!
I decided to go for something a little more classic for this shoot. I LOVE this dress so much that I spent a little more on it than I normally would, but I really couldn’t help myself. The silhouette had a vintage touch with the sleeves and a lovely flattering waistline, it was just perfect for me. I paired it with one of my favorite fringe bags (that will continue to be my pal throughout fall/winter) and my all-time favorite comfy wedges. I found my awesome mini fringe tassel necklace from Nordstrom Rack, which has truly been my best friend lately! I always find the best stuff there, I have found THREE amazing Rebecca Minkoff bags this year for less than $100 each. Like, what?? That doesn’t happen. But speaking of deals, my fringe RM bag from these photos is also on major major sale right now.
