Last weekend, I had the fun opportunity to spend a girls weekend at Wild Dunes Resort with two other local Charleston blogger babes Jaime and Hillary. Located at Isle of Palms (about 30 minutes outside of Charleston) it’s the perfect spot for a beach weekend away from the bustle of downtown.
But first, mimosas. Our first morning we stopped at the resort’s seafood restaurant, Coastal Provisions, for some breakfast and cabana lounging.
Next up was a walk down the boardwalk. This main boardwalk leads all the way to the beach through rows of adorable little rental houses. I snagged this dress from StyleDwell Boutique and these earrings from a local designer Hart Hagerty (I’ve been wearing her stuff a lot lately!).
I’m the only one in the group who plays golf, so we decided just to grab a cart and take a tour of the course! The marsh in the background was absolutely gorgeous. I hope I can come back again sometime and actually play!
The room was so cozy! Wild Dunes Resort is huge and divided into different areas: The Boardwalk Inn, the The Village at Wile Dunes, and Condo Rentals. We each stayed in our own Junior Suite at the Boardwalk Inn and it was just fab! We had balconies with views of the ocean, and the staff surprised us with chocolate covered strawberries and champagne!
Overall, we had a wonderful time! A big thanks for the folks at Wild Dunes for having us.
