I’m still in denial that my vacation is over! Last week, as you might have seen on my Insta, Snapchat, Insta Story, ect… I was in Cancun with a group of my favorite people (pictured: Lauren and Cynthia), and it could not have been more fabulous. We did an all-inclusive resort (which is the bomb by the way) and literally spent 5 days drinking delicious frozen cocktails at the swim-up bar, hanging out on the beach, and eating all the yummy food possible. We actually never left the resort to do any excursions or anything because we were having such a great time at the resort!
Well, we kinda left once, for these photos! If you haven’t heard of Flytographer, you’ve gotta keep reading. So, Flytographer is a company where you can book a local photographer to shoot your vacation in 180 cities worldwide. Like, hello! How cool is that?? So, say you’re on a vacation like me in Cancun and want some stunning beach photos but you didn’t want to lug around your camera, or you’re a guy traveling in Europe with your girlfriend and want to pop the question but don’t know any photographers you can trust, it’s Flytographer to the rescue! All you do is go online, choose the city you’ll be in, pick a photographer you like, and book! It’s so easy, which is amazing because the details of traveling internationally is usually never easy.
Our photographer, Arturo, was absolutely amazing! We had our shoot all planned out then at the last minute I realized we weren’t allowed to shoot at the resort (lol, duh, I should have known they would charge a fee), and he made sure we found a beautiful place to go that was close to our resort. He was seriously so awesome! I had also forgotten for a moment that once we left the resort, and didn’t have wifi, that we wouldn’t be able to text anymore, so I was frantically texting him right before we left letting him know what we were wearing and when we would get there so he would be able to find us lol. The entire time he stayed completely courteous to us. He even managed to get some amazing shots with the freaking gale force winds that were happening that night (as you can see from our hair haha).
I’m definitely going to use them again the next time I travel internationally. It’s so worth it to get quality photos when you’re traveling and going to places you may never go again. iPhone photos just really aren’t frame-worthy.
Thanks for reading!
