I can’t get enough of this floral maxi dress! You know those dresses you buy that sit in your closet and never get worn? Well, this is not that dress. I have worn it to a girls brunch, a dressy date night, and for drinks with the family, and I’ve only had it a few weeks. The wrap detail is so flattering, and I love the ruffle slit in the front! It’s awesome because it has a mini skirt lining underneath, so a sudden gust of wind won’t leave you grabbing for the skirt to cover yourself (lol).
There’s something to be said about maxi dresses and versatility. I remember when they first came in style (in my lifetime) back in high school and I was so obsessed with the fact that I could feel so girly and elegant in a long dress and still feel comfortable because it was made of cotton. You can’t beat that! I wore it to the beach as a cover-up, and then to dinner that night. I love when a dress can be worn in so many different ways so you really get your money’s worth out of it, and this floral maxi dress really fits the bill.
Happy Wednesday, y’all! It’s been a whirlwind week for me while I was on my road trip, and now I’m about to head out on another trip! I’m going to the beach in 2 days and I’m so excited for some relaxation by the ocean.
