If you’re not from the Charleston area, you might not be familiar with Mount Pleasant. Just a quick hop over the Ravenel Bridge, Mount Pleasant is a cute little town with lots of history, cute houses that can rival those of downtown Charleston, and so many delicious restaurants to choose from. You also pass through Mount P to get to Sullivan’s Island Beach! So, if you’re planning on heading over there during your trip, (it’s my favorite beach) it’s good to know your food options on that side of the bridge.
One of my favorite spots to grab a quick coffee in The Old Village of Mount Pleasant (and maybe a doughnut or two from BKeD SHoP) is Brown Fox Coffee. They have a huge selection of delicious and tasty coffee drinks, plus they have local businesses come by with different food options on certain days of the week. BKeD SHoP doughnuts happened to be there this time, so I definitely took advantage and got a cinnamon sugar doughnut to go with my Lavender Honey Latte! They have this permanent location called the cafe, as well as their coffee truck which is always on the move. Check out their website to see the menu and check on the truck’s location
Not to mention, as you can see, in the summer they have absolutely insane crepe myrtle blooms! I decided to bring my pup, Patsy, because she hadn’t made an appearance on my blog in a while! I would bring her more but she’s not always the easiest to pose with haha. Scroll below to see more pics, and definitely check out Brown Fox if you’re looking for a pick-me-up in Mount Pleasant!
