The Domain Northside is where everything is happening in Austin right now. New stores, restaurants, and bars are opening every week, which means opening parties are filling every Austinite’s social calendar. I was lucky enough to be asked to co-host such an event, the opening of the new Kiehl’s store!
If you’re not familiar, Kiehl’s is a skincare line with way too many amazing products to count. I have been using their sunless tanner for years (it’s seriously the best, it never rubs off on clothes and stays for days) and now I’ve been introduced to many more of their products that have quickly become favorites. One product I now use every night is their Rosa Arctica Anti-Aging Eye Cream, which rejuvenates the skin around your eyes making you look amazingly fresh, which is really important for girls like me who drink a lot of coffee and don’t always get enough sleep. Below are a few more of the products that I now use in my skincare routine.
My co-hosts at the party included the lovely ladies of Rank and Style, an awesome site that creates top ten lists based collected and aggregated data from trusted sources, including magazines, blogs, department stores and social media, to rank the ten best based on popularity, quality and buzz. They cover everything from best lipsticks, jeans, bras, ect… It’s really a fabulously refreshing style resource.
We snacked on Sprinkles cupcakes, shopped around, and met the president of Kiehl’s, Chris Salgardo, who presented a check of $3,000 to Dell Children’s Medical Center. Kiehl’s is really great about giving back to the community, so I was really happy to work with them. A few of my blogger friends also stopped by to check out the store. Overall, it was a great night!
