This man, y’all. I’ve been waiting my whole life to meet someone exactly like him.
Our love story has a lot of elements, but one theme is definitely our love for the Charleston foodie culture. We love going on dates and wining and dining around town, so it was only natural that we would do our engagement photos at a wine bar. Vintage Lounge was one of the first spots that came to mind because of it’s upscale look and cozy setting, plus we have been here on a few dates and loved it! They were so sweet and opened early for us and I just love the way the photos turned out.
Brent did such a good job, too!! He’s not as used to having his photo taken as I am, but he’s met my awesome photographer, Nicole Mickle, a few times before and she helped make us both feel really comfortable. My photos with Nicole always turn out so well though so I wasn’t surprised! She’s kind of a miracle worker, haha.
Also, I thought it would be fun for us to dress up for this one (that part was definitely 100% my idea). Brent is a good sport and like to get snazzy every now and then, but in general he is more of a causal guy. We plan to do another round of engagement photos in a more casual setting so we can also include our dogs! Stay tuned for that. My dress is by Mac Duggal, but it’s brand new and not available online yet.
