If you have been following my Instagram stories even a little bit since I moved to Charleston, you know that I’m obsessed with the Ravenel Bridge. It’s the big fun bridge that connects downtown Charleston to Mount Pleasant, and I’ve been going over there often because that’s where a lot of the good shopping is. When you drive over it at sunset, it has absolutely breathtaking views of the city and the water, and I just can’t get enough. The biggest adjustment I’ve had scenery-wise since I moved has been the fact that I see the ocean every single day here! Unless I stay in like a 10 mile radius of my apartment, I’m always driving over some bridge that gives me a beautiful view of the ocean or the rivers and creeks that lead there. In Austin, I was 5 hours away from the ocean, so I get all giddy every time.
I know I’ve also mentioned all the fabulous photographers I’ve been working with since I arrived, but I can’t say enough how grateful I am to them for showing me so many cool places in Charleston. Nicole Mickle, a photographer I’ve been working with regularly, took me down to this awesome park right underneath the Ravenel Bridge to shoot, and I was so excited! I mentioned to her that I wanted to shoot this cable knit hoodie by it, and I never would have found this park. It was so gorgeous! And speaking of this hoodie, how cozy is it?? The fabric has zero wool, but it’s still really heavy and high-quality. It’s absolutely perfect for casual days when you want to pull off that whole “I’m not trying but I look totally adorable, sorry not sorry” thing. I also think it would be super cute with leggings. I really just love cable knit for the winter, there’s nothing cozier!
Happy Tuesday! Keep following my Instagram stories to see more of my favorite spots in Charleston *hint* most of them involve food.
