As Fall approaches, I’ve been in the mood for warm, hearty dishes and cozy atmospheres, and that’s exactly what Ristorante Juliet brings to the table. I’ve popped into their adorable space for the yummy pizza (cooked at very high heat for minimal time in a non wood burning oven) and wine more than once since I moved here (especially since my friend started working there). I was so excited to return for a taste of some of their new menu items!
An Italian favorite on King Street, Juliet is most known for their classic Neapolitan pizzas, and chef Greg Kurtzman (who joined the team August 2018) added some flair with his new creations, including the San Daniele Pizza. It began as a specialty item, but received so much positive feedback that he made the choice to add it to the everyday menu! Below are all three of the new menu items that are making their appearance:
-Citrus Crudo: Branzino, heirloom tomatoes, oregano, & polenta chips.
-San Daniele Pizza: red sauce, salami, mozzarella, prosciutto, & Calabrian honey drizzle
-Gnocchi Verde: gnocchi, cherry tomatoes, burrata, Vin Cotto pearls
If you’re looking for great Italian food, a cozy atmosphere for dates, an easy spot for bigger groups, or an awesome happy hour ($5 house wine HELLO) then definitely check out Juliet. Scroll below to see photos of the space as well as visuals of the food I tried!
