When I moved to Charleston, I was surprised to discover the many things it had in common with my old hometown of Austin, TX. A thousand miles apart and yet it wasn’t much of a culture shock at all, and the biggest similarity I found was the focus on food and drinks, and especially the plethora of breweries.
