This. Buffalo. Check. Skirt.
I’ve fallen in love with it and I’m not sorry. Buffalo check is everywhere this fall, and the best part about the pattern is that is easily transforms to winter! I’ve been seeing it on pillows, table runners, throw blankets, dog collars, and of course, clothing. It’s so fun, unique, and festive, how could you not be in love? When I see it, I think cozy fires, hot cocoa, and mountain weather, which can be hard to imagine if you live in Texas like me. It can feel weird to have your holiday decorations up and then walk outside and it’s 80 degrees…but that’s just part of it, I guess! I can’t not wear all the fun fall and winter stuff just because the weather won’t cooperate. Along with buffalo check, I’m loving mustard yellow, burnt orange, and velvet for fall and winter.
Luckily, I’ll be traveling to Branson soon, so I’ll get to experience some cold weather and mountains!! My family and I love to stay at this lodge up there, and it’s not that far so we usually drive. I was excited before, and then my mom surprised me with a ticket for Mike too!! Ah!! I’m visiting him for Halloween this weekend and then I’ll get to see him soon after that for the trip. I’m so excited! They will be two very different trips. For Halloween, we will be dressed up as awesome gangster comic characters going to a raging party (the only way to do Halloween in L.A.), and then we’ll have a nice relaxing time in Branson enjoying a capella singing groups and going on golf cart tours to see the gorgeous fall colors of Missouri. It’s going to be perfect 🙂 Be sure to follow along because I’ll be doing lotsss of Instagram stories.
